A chat is the most personal thing on your phone. So we built this so we never see it.
What stays on your device
- The chat file. Your browser reads it. There is no upload for it.
- Every message you do not pick. They are never sent anywhere.
What is published when you pay
- The numbers (counts, dates, top words and emoji).
- The messages and moments you chose, and your dedication.
- The photo you upload goes to our image model to draw the illustration and is not stored.

Questions
Do you read our messages?
No. The chat file is opened by your browser and never uploaded. Only the numbers, the messages you pick and your dedication are published when you pay.
Does it work with group chats?
Pages are made for two people today. Group chats for friends and family are coming.
What about iMessage, Telegram or Instagram?
WhatsApp first. Other apps are on the way.
Can I make more than one page?
Yes. Each purchase publishes one page for one chat, so a second page, for another chat or another anniversary, is a new purchase. Preview stays free, so you can try as many chats as you like before you pay. With Page + video, you can create the video of that page again as many times as you want.
How long does the page stay online?
At least 10 years from the day you publish it. You can also download the whole page as a single file at any time, so the gift stays yours whatever happens. If we ever close, we will email you 90 days ahead with a copy.
How is the video made?
The opening seconds animate your illustration with an AI video model. Everything after that is drawn from your page on your own device: the first message, your numbers and the messages you picked, so every word is exactly yours and easy to read.
Does the video have music?
No, on purpose. Songs need a license, and Instagram and TikTok let you add any song from their library when you post. Pick yours there.
Is the page public?
It lives at a private link that is not listed or indexed. Add a password if you want it for your eyes only.
What if my chat does not load?
Make sure you exported the chat without media, then upload the .zip or .txt as is. If it still fails, write to hello@textsofus.com and we will fix it.
Can I get a refund?
If your page does not work, write to us within 14 days and we will refund you.
